Nikki Fouracre originally trained as an Industrial Chemist. She found her true calling when she joined the education sector 18 years ago, specialising in Secondary School Science. Nikki enjoyed linking the Science curriculum to real-world applications, inspiring students to follow Science at a higher academic level.
Both in mainstream and specialist education, Nikki embraced the multi-sensory opportunities in Science teaching. She recently added to her First Class Honours Degree in Molecular Science with qualifications in specialist dyslexia teaching at Level 4. This has led to an increased depth of understanding of students’ needs with dyslexia and co-occurring difficulties. Nikki’s drive arises from the desire to build confidence in individuals to allow them to thrive in their journey to adulthood.
Nikki has consistently been praised by peers, managers and Ofsted for her excellent relationships with students. She prides herself in understanding the student as a whole, using a marriage of pastoral and academic skills to bring the best from every child.
Nikki enjoys the countryside and tending to her wildlife garden at home.
