Ben Bridger originally trained as a primary school teacher in 1992 before finding his true love for teaching in secondary education, whilst working in a learning support role at the Cardinal Newman Catholic School in Hove. He holds a BA (Hons) in Theatre with Visual Practice from the University of Brighton and completed his Graduate Teacher Program at Sussex University. Ben has worked in a variety of educational establishments, ranging from mainstream KS3 to KS5, to specialised education focusing on Autistic Spectrum needs. His role prior to The Levels School was as a specialist teacher facilitating students who work with a range of specific learning difficulties. Ben has taught as a KS3 and KS4 English teacher, but has worked as a drama and film specialist over the last 10 years.
Committed to providing fun and engaging access to learning, Ben seeks to ensure that every child in his class receives the specialised and individually tailored learning journey needed to maximise their potential.
Ben is acknowledged by most who know him as a huge nerd, and is proud to be able to support apprentice nerds through developing the skills required to ensure their eventual saving of the world.
